Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Program

Why Buy a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle

Why buy used when you can buy Certified Pre-Owned? Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram's CPO program will give you everything you want from a new car, but with the value of a used car. Here's why you should invest in a CDJR CPO vehicle.

Thorough Inspections

To be considered for the CPO program, every CDJR vehicle must go through a thorough, 125-point inspection. Every part of the car is checked, inside and out.

Low Mileage

Evert CDJR in the CPO program must have less than 75,000 miles on the speedometer. So even in a CPO car, you'll be able to hit the road for a long time.

History

You'll know your car's history when you get a CDJR CPO car. That's because with every car, you'll get a CARFAX Vehicle History Report that tells you what your car has been through. So, you'll know about past history, from accidents to service problems.

Roadside Coverage

You'll be getting plenty of protection with CDJR CPO cars. That means that no matter what goes wrong on the road, you'll have help right away. With every CPO model, you'll get towing service, battery jumpstart, help if you lock yourself out, and even a certain amount of money for car rentals. All of this is included with every CDJR car.

Optional Packages

For every CDJR CPO purchase, you can choose from tons of optional packages like Certified Added Care, Certified Added Care Plus, and Certified Maximum Care. All of these give you more ease of mind on the road.

The great part about CDJR's CPO program is that you can get amazing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles all for a lower price. If you're looking for a high quality pre-owned car, look into CDJR's Certified Pre-Owned program. Ask us at Cronic CDJR about the program today!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

If you have questions about auto maintenance, find the answer here or get in touch with our helpful staff at Cronic CDJR!

Q: How often should I get my oil changed? Why is it so important?

A: Oil changes are important because the cleaner your oil is, the better it lubricates your engine, keeps it from overheating, and stops deposits from building up. The more you drive, the dirtier your oil gets, reducing your engine's performance.

How often you should get an oil change depends on your car and the type of oil you use, but generally every 5,000 to 8,000 miles is ideal. Talk to your technician about the right service schedule for your car.

Q: How often should I inspect/rotate/add air to my tires?

A: Have your tires inspected professionally once a year for issues you can't identify, and check them yourself every few months. Check for low thread and signs of cracking, bulging, or leaks.

You should also regularly check the tire pressure, especially when it's cold outside. If the pressure doesn't match the suggested PSI in your owner's manual, add air if it's low or let air out if it's high.

It's smart to get a tire rotation when you get your oil changed, which will probably be about two or three times a year depending on how much you drive. Rotating your tires helps ensure they wear evenly and last longer.

Q: How often do my vehicle's other fluids need to be refilled or changed?

A: To be safe, check all your fluids monthly. There are different rules for all of them.

If transmission fluid is low, there's a problem with your vehicle and you should schedule a service appointment to have it checked. If the transmission fluid is brown or smells burnt, it needs replaced.

If coolant is low, add fluid, mixing with at least a 1:1 ratio of water to coolant, but usually you want more water than coolant. Replace it every two to three years.

Brake fluid also shouldn't be low-if it is, there may be a leak in your braking system. If it's brown instead of golden, it needs to be replaced.

Power steering fluid may never need to be replaced, but you should still check it and make sure it's topped off when you check your other fluids. Check your owner's manual to see if you need to flush and replace it at any point.
