Trim Options

The 2022 Jeep_® Compass is available across six trims. Choose from Sport, Latitude, Latitude Lux, Trailhawk®, Limited, and High Altitude.

Off-Road-Ready SUV

Climb aboard the 2022 Compass for an adventure like no other. If off-roading is up your alley, get the Compass Trailhawk® edition with water fording (less than 19 inches), Mopar® accessories, and the capability features you need for steep ascents and rocky terrains. The Trailhawk® also boasts a Selec-Terrain® system that lets you switch between Auto, Mud, Rock, Sand, and Snow.

For your new Compass, you'll choose between a few different 4x4 systems. The Active Drive 4x4 System allows for seamless transitions from two- to four-wheel drive or vice-versa. Trailhawk® models get exclusive Active Drive Low with 4-Low mode for a 20:1 crawl ratio.

The new Compass gets its power from a 2.4-liter Tigershark® four-cylinder engine that cranks out 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque, enables towing up to 2,000 pounds, and yields up to 31 mpg on the highway.[1]

Safety first

For 2022, the Jeep_® Compass boasts more than 75 safety and security features, many of them standard across the lineup; that earns the Compass the distinction of offering the most available safety features in its class. Some of the hallmark safety technologies for the Compass include Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Pedestrian/Cyclist Automatic Emergency Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go.

Though not immediately, the Compass will eventually be offered with a new Highway Assist semi-autonomous driving system for the 2022 model.

A luxurious interior

The 2022 Jeep_® Compass is known for blending family-friendly practicality with off-road prowess, but there's also more than a touch of luxury inside this SUV. For 2022, you will notice a new instrument panel with slimmer AC vents, as well as new interior finishes, such as the new door trim and bezels.

The interior of the new Jeep_® Compass ensures comfort with available heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats and also offers convenience with front and rear USB charging points. In fact, up front, you will have access to the available wireless charging pad. Other available interior features include a universal garage door opener, a heated steering wheel, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Leading tech

The 2022 Compass houses more than 35 available technology features. It starts with the two new Uconnect® system options for smartphone connectivity (Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ make easy work of that), as well as the available 10.25-inch Driver Information Digital Cluster Display.

The new Uconnect® system boasts five user profiles, standard wireless smartphone integration, Alexa compatibility, and a standard 8.4-inch touch screen (largest standard in its class); you can also upgrade to a 10.1-inch digital display.

Exterior color options

Choose from a wide range of exterior colors for your new 2022 Jeep_® Compass, including Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat, Granite Crystal Metallic Clear-Coat, Billet Silver Metallic Clear-Coat, Laser Blue Pearl-Coat, and Velvet Red Pearl-Coat. Trailhawk®, Limited, and High Altitude models are offered in a single Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat monotone exterior color, or you can go with one of five two-tone exterior combos:

• Granite Crystal Metallic Clear-Coat and Black Clear-Coat
• Sting-Gray Clear-Coat and Black Clear-Coat
