The 2022 Ram 2500 takes its motivation from a standard 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine with Variable-Cam Timing. This engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, serves up a best-in-class 410 horsepower, plus a whopping 429 lb-ft of torque. With the HEMI V8, the Ram 2500 can tow up to 17,540 pounds and boasts a payload of 4,010 pounds.

Need more power? You can upgrade to the available 6.7-liter Cummins® Turbo Diesel inline-six engine. This bad boy, partnered with a six-speed automatic transmission, delivers immense power at 370 horsepower, 850 lb-ft of torque, and 20,000 pounds of towing capacity. Yes, 20,000 - there's almost nothing you can't tow! This engine also promises 3,160 pounds of payload.

To improve the towing experience, the 2022 Ram 2500 gives you technologies and features like the Trailer Hitch Light, available 360-degree Surround View Camera, available Digital Rearview Mirror with Tow Mode, Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring, available Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension, and more integrated towing hardware.

On the outside

The design of the 2022 Ram 2500 is elegant yet athletic; Big Horn and Lone Star models got a new front grille design that's even more menacing than before. Wheel designs range from the standard painted 17-inch steel wheels or polished and clear-coated 20-inch aluminum wheels with chrome pocket inserts to the available 17-inch beadlock capable aluminum wheels and painted 20-inch cast aluminum wheels.

Exterior color options include Pearl White, Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat, Granite Crystal Metallic Clear-Coat, Billet Silver Metallic Clear-Coat, Patriot Blue Pearl-Coat, Delmonico Red Pearl-Coat, Flame Red Clear-Coat, and Bright White Clear-Coat. You can also get some unique two-tone exterior colors. The combinations are too varied to list, but three of our favorites are:
