Jeep Renegade Commander Vehicle Spotlight

Jeep always brings an incredible, if sometimes strange, set of concepts to the Easter Jeep Safari and this year was no different. Many of the concepts were wilder than others, like the Hell-cat powered Wrangler, but some were more grounded, like the Jeep Renegade Commander.

The Renegade Commander is the most down-to-earth model among the seven concepts that debuted at the festival. This reality-based concept made an excellent demonstration as to what Mopar parts can do. The Renegade is widely known as a soft-roader and a small one at that. This concept took a new look at the SUV.

In all, the Jeep Renegade Commander featured a two-inch lift that. That extra room allowed for 29.5-inch BFG All-Terrain tires that wrapped around Rubicon wheels. Mopar skid plates, rock rails, and auxiliary lighting finish off the off-road-ready look.

While it wasn't the most attention-grabbing concept at the festival, it's probably the safest bet for a production model. It looks like the standard Jeep Renegade will have to suffice, at least until the Jeep Renegade Commander is confirmed for production or scrapped altogether!
