Six Different Trim Levels for the 2020 Ram 1500

The 2020 RAM 1500 has an affordable starting price of $32,145. That entry into award-winning trucks is just the beginning. Offering four powerful engines and six different trim levels: Tradesman, Bighorn, Laramie, Rebel, Laramie Longhorn Edition and Limited-there is a 2020 Ram 1500 for every pickup truck lover.

Ram 1500 Engine Options, Power, and Performance

All 2020 Ram 1500 engines give you power where it counts. The eTorque 3.6L V6 Pentastar generates 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. With a maximum towing capacity of 7,730 pounds mated to Ram's TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, this engine is one powerful V6. And it still gets great gas mileage: 20 mpg with city driving and 25 mpg on the highway, earning it Best-in-Class V6 fuel efficiency.

The Ram 1500's legendary 5.7L V8 Hemi engine generates 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, allowing you to tow up to 11,610 pounds. When you mate this beast to Ram's eTorque transmission, your towing power only increases. You can tow up to 12,750 pounds.

And if you need the low-end torque that only diesel engines can provide, the 2020 Ram 1500 can be outfitted with a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine. This diesel engine provides 260 horsepower and an amazing 480 lb-ft of torque, which is the best in its class. With that much diesel torque, you can tow up to 12,560 pounds.

The Stealthy Night Edition of the 2020 Ram 1500

Of special mention on the trim side is the Ram 1500 Night Edition. Only available on the Big Horn and Laramie trim levels, the Night Edition brings a blacked-out grille, exhaust tips, wheels, and badging. Also, both the taillamp and headlight bezels are darkened, to complete the darkly stylish transformation. On the Big Horn trim, the blacked-out wheels are 20 inches; on the Laramie trim, they are 22-inches.
