What Does Ram Powertrain Care Cover?
Ram Powertrain Care extends your factory powertrain limited warranty from 5 years/60,000 miles (100,000 miles for diesel engines) to 10 years/100,000 miles from the original in-service date. This extended protection covers the cost of parts and labor needed to repair covered powertrain components that are defective in materials or workmanship.
Covered powertrain components include:
- Engine: Cylinder block and internal parts, cylinder head assemblies, timing components, oil pump, water pump, intake and exhaust manifolds, turbocharger, supercharger and related seals and gaskets
- Transmission: Transmission case and internal parts, torque converter, transmission control module, speed sensors, pressure sensors and related seals and gaskets
- Drivetrain: Transfer case (4x4 models), axle housings and internal parts, drive shafts, axle shafts, universal joints, constant velocity joints and related components
